Metal Injection Moulding Process:
  1. Mixing fine metal powders with thermoplastic binders.
  2. Use high shear rate kneader to mix binder and metal powder after kneading, the homogeneous feedstock is pelletized to facilitate the loading into the molding machine.
  3. Injecting to form green parts.
  4. Extract the binders from green parts leaving the parts with metal powders only. Since the binder has completed its mission after molding, it is extracted from the green parts leaving the parts with metal powders only.
  5. The debound parts are consolidated by holding at high temperatures to attain the required mechanical and physical properties.
  6. Secondary operation Plating, sand blasting, drilling, tapping, heat treating, Teflon coating, phosphate, machining.
